Te Hosek’en Harw is a body of work inspired by the Selkn'am people of Tierra del Fuego and the powerful visual language of their Hain ceremony. Drawing from traditional body painting, masks, ritual forms, and the symbolic use of black, red, and white, the works reimagine ancestral Selknam imagery through both literal and contemporary interpretations. Textures, marks, geometric forms, and expanded colour palettes evoke a dialogue between memory, ceremony, loss, and cultural survival, honouring the visual strength of Selkn'am traditions while reflecting on their continued resonance today.
